Denise Naguib, Marriott

Global Vice President, Sustainable Operations & Stakeholder Relations

Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Denise graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Geography with an emphasis on human impacts on the environment. Denise became involved with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society, implementing environmental education programs around the world. A decade later, Cousteau’s program took her to the Cayman Islands and then eventually to Washington, DC as a member of Marriott International’s global operations team. Denise and her team lead the strategy, program implementation, and reporting for sustainability for Marriott’s 9000+ hotels around the world. Naguib currently serves as Chair of the Board for WEConnect International, the global organization supporting women’s businesses around the world. She is also on the Boards of Arbor Day Foundation, World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, Arbor Day Carbon, and Sheridan School, and is an active member of the Global Business Travel Association’s Sustainable Leadership Council.

Dee Siegel, Wells Fargo

Sustainability Engagement Leader

Dee Siegel is the Sustainability Engagement Leader for Wells Fargo Bank. She was formerly the Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer within the White House Office of the CSO, where she worked with Federal agencies, external stakeholders, and offices within the Executive Office of the President to set policy and priorities and implement sustainability programs for the U.S. Government’s operations, comprising 350 buildings, 600,000 vehicles, and a $700 billion supply chain.

Prior to joining the White House, Dee launched sustainability programs for the Office of Personnel Management and the U.S. Peace Corps. She was previously a sustainability and corporate responsibility consultant, providing strategy and communication advice to clients in the energy, aerospace, CPG, and food and beverage sectors. She began her career in international development and conservation, working with the Peace Corps and Conservation International.

Dee received an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a bachelor's degree in international relations from Boston University, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala.
