David Nason
Kogod alum and CEO, TIAA Wealth Management & Advice Splutions
David G. Nason is Chief Executive Officer of TIAA Wealth Management & Advice Solutions. He sits on the TIAA Executive Committee, driving TIAA’s comprehensive individual advice offer with more than $2.3 billion annual revenue, $258 billion in assets under management/assets under administration, and more than 2,100 employees.
He oversees the financial advisor team, the wealth management chief investment officer, the trust company, broker-dealer, and advice strategy and execution team, including digital advice capabilities, client engagement, and third-party advisor sales and services teams. He also oversees a suite of complementary businesses, including the nation’s third largest Education Savings program with more than $60 billion in program assets.
In his previous role at TIAA, David was the Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for building and strengthening enterprise-wide controls, including oversight of the Chief Control Officer, first-line risk and operational programs, and certain transformation efforts (e.g., partnerships and divestitures). He also previously served as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Legal, Risk, and Compliance Officer, and joined TIAA as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.
