Angela Virtu is a professor in IT and Analytics at American University’s Kogod School of Business, where she teaches courses on technology, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. As the AI Instructional Faculty Fellow, she leads Kogod’s AI strategy and spearheads faculty and staff training initiatives.

Prior to academia, Angela developed AI and machine learning solutions that bridged theoretical innovation with practical, ethical applications, driving organizational integration and measurable business impact.

General Partner and Co-Founder, Swift Ventures

Brett Wilson has over 20 years as an entrepreneur and investor. In 2007, he co-founded TubeMogul after winning UC Berkeley’s Business Plan Competition. As CEO, he led the company through a top-performing IPO (NASDAQ: TUBE) in 2014 and its $540M acquisition by Adobe in 2016. Known for building values-driven cultures, Brett fostered growth that earned TubeMogul recognition from Glassdoor and Fortune, while pioneering automation and transparency in digital advertising.

Brett received his MBA at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and now serves on the school’s Board of Advisors. A frequent speaker and commentator, Brett’s thoughts on entrepreneurship and leadership have been featured in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.

Ambassador and Global Head of Policy, Google

Karan Bhatia is the Global Head of Policy at Google, where he leads the company’s policy strategy and engagement on regulatory, legislative, and geopolitical issues. He advises Google’s leadership on matters like digital innovation, privacy, and technology governance, guiding their interactions with governments and stakeholders worldwide.

Previously, Bhatia served as President of Government Affairs at GE and held senior roles in the US government, including Deputy US Trade Representative. With degrees from Princeton, LSE, and Columbia Law, he brings wide-ranging expertise in law, diplomacy, and policy, helping shape forward-thinking approaches to complex global challenges.
