For the third consecutive year, Billboard has named the Kogod School of Business’ Business & Entertainment (BAE) program to its list of Top Music Business Schools. The recognition spotlights programs that connect classroom learning with the realities of today’s entertainment economy—from music publishing and streaming to live events and artist entrepreneurship.
“Three years running on Billboard’s Best Music Business Schools list affirms that rigor and creativity can live in the same classroom,” said Kogod Dean David Marchick. “It also shows employers across the entertainment industry that Kogod students graduate ready to contribute on day one.”
The Business and Entertainment program was established in 2013 by Program Director Emeritus Professor John Simson, former CEO of SoundExchange and longtime entertainment lawyer.
