Executive Board
Kareem Ihmeidan is KSR’s Founder and Editor-In-Chief. Kareem pursued his undergraduate degree in Energy Management at the University of Tulsa, where he also served as Student Body President. In 2022, he was accepted into the White House Internship Program. He interned in the White House's newly formed Office of Domestic Climate Policy, working alongside senior policy experts to support implementing President Biden's climate initiatives. Upon receiving his MS in Sustainability Management degree, Kareem hopes to drive sustainability efforts through business and political engagement. During his free time, Kareem enjoys exploring coffee shops in the DC area and bike rides along the Potomac River.
Isabela Barriga is an MS in Sustainability Management graduate student at the Kogod School of Business. Currently, Isabela is an engagement specialist at the World Resources Institute, where she works to strengthen the impact of Global Forest Watch's tools and build community partnerships across forest monitoring and protection. Previously, Isabela managed communications and content strategy for USAID's global knowledge portal for climate change and international development, Climatelinks. Isabela holds a BS in Public Health and a minor in International Development and Conflict Management from the University of Maryland, College Park. As a Maryland native, Isabela enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and exploring DC's museums.
Erica Chiorazzi is a graduate student in the MS in Sustainability Management program, where she hopes to specialize in the communication of sustainability after graduation. Erica has prior brand management consulting and environmental research experience, including a publication on sustainable investment strategies in The Wilson Center's New Security Beat. When not working on KSR’s Digital Marketing Strategy, you can most likely find her trying out different restaurants around the D.C. area.
Sixtus Onyekachi Agbo is a graduate student in the MS in Sustainability Management program at the Kogod School of Business and is a research assistant at American University. Sixtus is the founder and Director General of MPAPV Africa, an NGO that advocates for Africa's self-sufficiency through prioritized sustainable economic policies. He is incredibly passionate about Africa's food security and sustainable energy transition. He hopes to advance his MS in Sustainability Management degree to assist with Africa's sustainable Energy transition in the future. In his free time, Sixtus enjoys traveling, meeting new people, and listening to Afrobeats.
Editors
With a history in journalism, content writing, and brand development, Zoë is thrilled to contribute as an editor for KSR. This opportunity has helped bridge her 12+ years of experience in the creative industry, including at Adobe and AEG Worldwide, with her future as a sustainability professional. She has loved her time in the MS in Sustainability Management program and how it has prepared her for the next chapter of sustainability leadership. She looks forward to serving the people and places she calls home, including New Mexico, California, and the greater Southwest.
Sheik Azharuddin is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Green Projects, Business Development, Sales & Marketing, and Technical Consulting for Sustainable Solutions. Currently pursuing an MS in Sustainability Management at KOGOD School of Business, Sheik brings a Techno-Business perspective to sustainability.
Camryn Albrecht is an MS in Sustainability Management graduate student at the Kogod School of Business and aspires to leverage her expertise to contribute to the deployment of clean energy solutions after graduation. Camryn has prior sustainable business development and consulting experience and holds a BS in Economics and a minor in Sustainability from the University of Maryland, College Park. In her free time, Camryn enjoys reading, exploring hiking trails, and discovering new restaurants in and around D.C.
