Entrepreneurship

Forge a New Path

We were the first business school in DC to teach entrepreneurship, and almost a half-century later, our entrepreneurs are still creating the transformative, sustainable, and socially just solutions the world needs.

Knowledge

Entrepreneurship is for everyone.

We offer all AU students courses, minors, specializations, and independent studies in entrepreneurship that are designed to help you develop creative problem-solving skills; build business, nonprofit, and social ventures that address significant world problems; and gain access to Kogod's growing ecosystem of entrepreneurs, resources, and partnerships for startups.

Support

We help you build and grow your venture.

The Veloric Center for Entrepreneurship Incubator helps graduate students, undergraduate students, and recent alumni build successful profit or nonprofit/social entrepreneurial ventures that are sustainable and can scale over time. The incubator provides accepted ventures with experienced mentors, networking and educational opportunities, workspace, resources, guidance, and a start-up financial grant.

Opportunities

Network with investors and experienced entrepreneurs.

The Veloric Center for Entrepreneurship provides opportunities for all students to participate in competitions, events, seminars, information sessions, and networking. Join a hackathon, compete in a venture capital investment competition, participate in DC Startup Week, or work for a Veloric Center venture to get start-up work experience.
