Our programs are hands-on.
At American University’s Kogod School of Business, experiential learning — learning by doing — is at the center of our business education philosophy. You’ll have opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom to get real-world experience, including internships, pro bono consulting projects, co-op programs, study abroad, the AU Center for Innovation Entrepreneurship Incubator, capstones and practicums, and professional certifications.
Choose from over 100 study and intern abroad programs, including more than 30 accredited and approved business programs in over 20 countries.
Pro bono consulting projects are open to undergraduate and graduate students from every school.
The AU Center for Innovation, housed in the Kogod School of Business, helps students build successful profit or nonprofit/social entrepreneurial ventures.
