Upcoming KVAN Events
The Kothari Networking Dinner answers a vital need, providing a unique, supportive, and delicious opportunity for learning with the help of alumni like you who understand the power of networking. It provides a dynamic experience for all attendees, alumni and students alike to create social bonds, learn about one another, and build confidence in etiquette and networking skills going forward.
Come speak to Kogod students about your experiences during your time as a business student, as well as after graduation! These panels give students insights about paths to take during and after their time at Kogod!

Volunteer Opportunities
One-on-One Mentoring and Career Development Support
Mentoring provides an opportunity for alumni to guide current undergraduate and/or graduate students by sharing your experiences and career insights. This program provides a chance to build meaningful connections while helping the next generation with their professional journeys. Alumni are also invited to be a resource for Career Development, offering support such as job search and internship opportunities, resume review and mock interviewing. This is a great opportunity to give back by helping students navigate the transition from academics to the professional world.
When filling out the registration form, please note if your preference is to mentor only undergraduate or graduate students.
Guest Speaking to Classes and Judging Case Competitions or Class Projects
On occasion, we work with faculty and student organizations to seek alumni to participate in panel discussions virtually and in person, where you can share your expertise and experiences with current students. This is a valuable opportunity to engage with the next generation and offer insights into various industries and career paths.
We invite alumni to return and serve as judges for our Case Competitions, offering your valuable feedback and industry perspectives. Your participation will not only support students in honing their skills but also strengthen the connection between alumni and the current academic community.
Note: we are only seeking alumni who graduated at least five years ago for our Annual Case Competition.
Graduate Admissions Support
Graduate alumni are encouraged to volunteer for graduate admissions support by sharing your experiences with prospective students at recruitment events, as well as being a resource for those prospects. Your involvement helps prospective students gain a deeper understanding of the institution and its community.
Hosting Development and Fundraising Activities
The Kogod School of Business is currently considering an alumni driven fundraising initiative to help support the school financially. An example of such a program could be a golf outing, formal dinner event, charity auction, etc. Your efforts would help to ensure the continued growth and success of Kogod.
