That's why we enlist the help of our brightest undergraduate and graduate students, who excel in business writing and public speaking, to mentor their fellow Kogod students. Our peer-coaching model provides a supportive and collaborative environment where students can learn from one another and build the skills they need to succeed in business. Adan

Adan is an undergraduate student from Silver Spring, Maryland. He is hoping to pursue a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management and a Spanish Translation Certificate. In his time outside of Kogod, he likes to connect with people from other cultures, explore new locations around the DMV area with friends, and pick up new hobbies.

Amelia

Amelia is from Grafton, a town in central Massachusetts. She is an undergrad student double majoring in Business Administration and Legal Studies, and she plans on attending law school after graduation. Currently, Amelia loves to spend free time going to the movie theater and going out to try news foods.

Anika

Anika is from Jacksonville, a coastal town located in Northeast Florida. She is an undergraduate student studying Business Administration at the Kogod School of Business. Outside of school, she loves playing volleyball on the club team, attending concerts with her friends, and watching thought-provoking movies!

Anthony

Anthony is from Hillsborough, New Jersey, and is an undergraduate studying Finance at the Kogod School of Business and Economics at the School of Arts and Sciences. He has a particular interest in venture capital and private equity. Outside of academia, Anthony is an avid gym-goer and enjoys watching his favorite football team, the New York Giants!

Ashley

Ashley is from Anchorage, Alaska. She is hoping to pursue a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Russian. In her free time, she loves to dance and volunteer at Special Olympics events, sometimes even combining the two!

Ben

Ben is from Raleigh, the capital city of North Carolina. He is currently studying Finance at the Kogod School of Business and is aspiring to pursue opportunities in consulting, operations, finance, and sales. Ben is an extrovert through-and-through, with a wide range of hobbies and interests that include personal finance, poetry, science fiction, and golf.

Camelia

Camelia is from Dorado, Puerto Rico, a small island in the Caribbean. She is an undergraduate student studying Business and Entertainment at the Kogod School of Business with a minor in Music Performance. In the meantime, Camelia loves to play instruments like the piano and the guitar, watch TV shows, and go for walks at the National Mall.

Christina

Christina is from just outside Pittsburgh, PA, and is an undergraduate student at the Kogod School of Business. She is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Christina loves exploring DC by going to museums, hiking, eating at DC's incredible restaurants, and finding fun events in the DMV area.

Dani

Dani is from Miami, Florida. She is an undergraduate student studying at the Kogod School of Business and is pursuing Business Administration as her major with a potential minor in Legal Studies. Dani loves to explore DC by wandering through Georgetown and going to different museums.

Ella

Ella is from Alfred, a small town in Western NY. She is an undergraduate student studying economics. In her free time, she is a member of AU's sailing team and loves to explore DC.

Erik

Erik is from San Diego, CA. He is a graduate student pursuing a Juris Doctor at the Washington College of Law and a Master of Business Administration at the Kogod School of Business. He enjoys playing musical instruments, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Fenan

Fenan is an undergraduate student from Durham, North Carolina studying Business Administration. She is excited to be a part of ProComms to provide support to her fellow students and engage with the community. Outside of school, Fenan loves listening to Tyler the Creator, baking, and exploring DC!

Gabriela

Gabriela is a originally from São Paulo, Brazil, but she has been living in Kansas City, Missouri for the past couple of years. She is an undergraduate Kogod School of Business student currently majoring in Accounting. Gabriela loves to travel and learn about different cultures.

Hannah

Hannah is from Dubai, UAE. She is an undergraduate student studying Business Administration at the Kogod School of Business. During her free time, she likes to go to the gym and go to different restaurants in DC.

Isabel

Isabel is originally from Idaho and is a current senior at American University. She is studying Finance and is interested in going into investing after she graduates. Aside from tutoring, she has worked as a safety kayaker and kayak instructor and as a raft guide.

Isaiah

Isaiah is a Freshman here at AU by way of Princeton, New Jersey. Majoring in Business Administration with specializations in Management and Finance, he hopes to pursue a career in the banking industry or consulting. He loves urban cities like New York and Chicago, working on cars, visiting museums, and traveling the world.

Isis

Isis is an undergraduate student from Gaithersburg, Maryland. She is majoring in Business Administration with an interest in Finance and Real Estate. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new recipes and working out.

Jazmin

Jazmin is from a small town called Fair Lawn, New Jersey, located roughly 20 minutes outside of New York. She is an undergraduate student anticipating to study Finance along with pursuing a minor in Economics. Some of her interests include giving back to the community in ways such as volunteering, focusing on her mental health by journaling, and keeping active with her favorite exercise, running.

Kamora

Kamora is an undergraduate student from Stone Mountain, Georgia. She is pursuing a degree in French Business, Language, and Culture at the Kogod School of Business. When she's not studying, you can find her exploring DC's museums, discovering musical gems, and reading books.

Kate

Kate is from Samara, a small city in Russia. She is an undergraduate student studying at the Kogod School of Business and is pursuing a Business Administration major with a self-designed specialization in Brand Management and Marketing. During her free time, she loves to read fiction books, discover new places in DC, or spend time with her friends.

Kevin

Kevin is from Hanover, a small town in Pennsylvania! He is a Finance major with a minor in Information Systems & Technology at the Kogod School of Business. Kevin loves playing tennis and trying new restaurants in DC in his free time, and if you ever need a recommendation, he is the person to come to!

Lily

Lily, a Pittsburgh native, is an undergraduate student at the Kogod School of Business. She is currently studying Finance and Business Administration. Outside academics, Lily enjoys immersing herself in Washington, DC's vibrant culture by visiting museums, browsing local bookstores, and discovering new cafes around the city.

Luke Barsamian

Luke Barsamian is from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, a small town just outside of Philadelphia. He is an undergraduate student at the American University's Kogod School of Business and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. Luke loves exploring the city and finding new attractions to visit and places to experience.

Luke Batarseh

Luke Batarseh is from Falls Church, Virginia, which is just outside DC. He is an undergrad student pursuing Marketing at the Kogod School of Business. Outside of school, Luke spends a great deal of time working as a filmmaker and photographer.

Marley

Marley is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which is about a 4-hour drive from DC! She is a second-year undergraduate student at the Kogod School of Business and is hoping to pursue Accounting as her major. In her free time, she loves to hangout with her roommates and try new things.

Maya

Maya is from Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She is an undergraduate student studying at the Kogod School of Business, currently majoring in Business Administration. Outside of the classroom, she loves to explore DC and participate in spontaneous activities.

Naomi

Naomi is a Kogod undergraduate from Bowie, MD and has found the perfect combination of her love for language learning and business in the Business, Language, and Culture major! In her free time, she’s either crocheting stylish outfits for her dog or perfecting her dance moves in AU’s Zumba classes. In the warmer months, you can find her relaxing with a good book in the shade, and when it gets colder, you can catch her snowboarding on the slopes of Pennsylvania.

Nora

Nora is a junior at Kogod from Arlington, Virginia pursuing a major in Accounting. She loves finding new restaurants in the city and is always up for any kind of adventure. When she's not on Pinterest or trying to sit down and actually finish a book, she's a barista at the Spring Valley Starbucks, making very last-minute plans, or studying in Kogod.

Reese

Reese is from McLean, Virginia, right outside of DC. She is an undergraduate student studying at the Kogod School Of Business. Reese loves to go out and see new museums with her friends and check out our nations parks on days with nice weather.

Renato

Renato is a first-year MBA and MS in Sustainability Management student who is passionate about social and environmental impact and building community. With experience in global sustainability initiatives and international partnerships, he has worked on initiatives that foster global and local change. He loves exploring nature, running through new landscapes, capturing stories through photography, and experiencing different cultures.

Rose

Rose is a current MBA student taking a focus in Sustainability. Before this program, Rose was an Event Manager for Sephora in Connecticut where she also overlooked her store's loyalty program and social media presence. In her spare time, Rose loves to spent time at the gym, dancing, or exploring the different sights that DC has to offer.

Ryan

Ryan is from Concord, Massachusetts, a historic town right outside of Boston. He is an undergraduate student studying at the Kogod School of Business. In his free time, Ryan is a brand ambassador online and loves to connect with new people and gather new experiences.

Salem

Salem is from Ramallah, Palestine. He is an international student majoring in Business Administration, specializing in Finance and Management. He loves to go out and try new restaurants in DC and explore what the city offers.

Sam

Sam is an undergraduate student from St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently majoring in Justice & Law and is interested in doing a double major in Business Administration. When he's not busy studying, Sam enjoys seeing the sights of DC and watching live theatre productions.

Sarine

Sarine is originally from Boulder, Colorado but now lives in DC as an undergraduate student studying Business Entertainment with a specialization in Film. She loves to go out to eat, attend sporting events, and see the city nightlife.

Sophie

Sophie is from Dubai, a small city in the United Arab Emirates. She is an undergraduate student at the Kogod School of Business and is pursuing Business and Entertainment as her major and Health Promotion as her minor. She loves exploring DC, finding new food places to try, and visiting the many historical sites.

Spencer

Spencer is from Medfield, a small town outside Boston, and is studying Communications at AU's School of Communications. Additionally, he is planning on minoring in Kogod's Real Estate or Entrepreneurship Programs. Spencer loves making new connections with those around him, getting to know and explore DC more, and is looking to find a ceramics studio to join here!
