Kogod Peer Consultants

At Kogod, we believe in the power of peer coaching to drive academic success. That's why we enlist the help of our brightest undergraduate and graduate students, who excel in business writing and public speaking, to mentor their fellow Kogod students. Our peer-coaching model provides a supportive and collaborative environment where students can learn from one another and build the skills they need to succeed in business. Whether you're struggling with a writing assignment or looking to improve your public speaking skills, our trained peer coaches are here to guide you every step of the way. With their expertise and support, you can confidently achieve your academic and professional goals.

Abigail

Abigail

Abigail is an undergraduate student from South Carolina. Her favorite part of working at the ProComms Center is communicating with people, helping, and learning from them. She loves going for walks in the city, trying new restaurants, and finding cool places to study.

Adriana

Adriana

Adriana is an undergraduate student from San Jose, Costa Rica. She is majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. She is the AU Diplomats Coordinator and a member of the Kogod Organization of Latinx Leaders Across Business (KOLLAB). She speaks English and Spanish. Adriana founded a project called "InEnglish" in which she tutored different groups of kids using a dynamic project-based teaching style. Outside of school, she enjoys watching Netflix, listening to music, discovering new restaurants and cafes, and hanging out with her friends. She is really excited to be one of your peer consultants this year!

 

Alia

Alia

Alia is an undergraduate student and Frederick Douglass Scholar studying Business and Entertainment at Kogod. Originally from a small town in southern Maryland called Bryan’s Road, Alia is interested in photography, finance, and agency. After she graduates, she hopes to pursue a job in the entertainment industry and travel the world.

Aniyah

Aniyah is an undergraduate student from Long Island, NY. Her favorite part about working at the ProComms Center is getting the chance create new relationships with her clients and help them to completely understand business communication skills. When Aniyah is not in class or studying you can find her exploring new parts of DC with her friends or making Tiktoks.

Brian

Brian is an MBA/MA in Global Environmental Policy dual-degree student. He earned his B.S. in Environmental and Ecological Science from Elon University in North Carolina. Brian's previous experiences include working as a foreign teacher in Thailand and Argentina as well as addressing food security issues as a CCMA AmeriCorps VISTA at the University of Maryland. Brian's interests lie at the intersection of conservation, equity, and international development particularly as it relates to the food system. When not focusing on his studies, you can find him exploring Rock Creek Park, gardening, or experimenting with a new bread recipe.

Bryn

Bryn is an undergraduate student studying Business and Entertainment at Kogod. She is from Sinking Spring, PA and is a member of AU Department of Performing Arts, CRU at American, and the varsity field hockey team. Outside of school, Bryn loves singing and playing five different instruments (if you're curious they are piano, guitar, ukulele, French horn and viola). She is also a huge fan of reality TV competitions, especially Survivor, so feel free to bring it up in conversation!

Camille is an undergraduate student majoring in Film and Finance. She was raised in Italy, France, and the US. During her free time, Camille likes to read, watch movies, hike, and learn new languages. If you want to practice any language she's always ready to chat!

Demetra

Demetra is from Port Washington, a town on Long Island, NY. She is an undergraduate student studying at the Kogod School of Business. She is looking to pursue either Marketing or Real Estate as her major. In the meantime, Demetra loves to explore what DC has to offer by visiting museums and going out to eat at unique restaurants. Her Greek culture makes up a huge part about her personality as she emerges herself in the cuisine, ancient history, and language while traveling the islands every summer.

Eli is a undergraduate student studying business administration. His hometown is Hammondsport, New York. One of his favorite things about his field is building relationships with people and public speaking. In his free time, he likes to spend time outdoors skiing, sailing, hiking, or doing just about any watersport.

Ethan is an undergraduate student from Melrose, MA. His favorite part about working at the CPC is meeting clients and working to improve their communication skills. On campus, Ethan is also involved with the Residence Hall Association, AU Outdoors, and AmeriMUNC. He enjoys watching movies, going skiing, and exploring everything that DC has to offer!

Grace ​​​​​​​is an undergraduate student at Kogod studying Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing Management. She is excited to be part of the ProComms Center to help other students and help the community that has given her the support in her business writing assignments at Kogod. She plans on doing her MBA at Kogod's School of Business and hopes to go back home to New York City and start her own marketing firm.

Harrison

Harrison is an undergraduate student from Orange County in Southern California. He is a Business Administration major with a minor in Legal Systems. Harrison is also the Senator for the Kogod School of Business in the Undergraduate Senate at AU. He enjoys eating sushi, trying new foods, painting, and playing beach volleyball.

Isabel is a graduate student from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Her favorite part about working at the ProComms Center is building meaningful relationships with clients and watching their writing skills grow. She enjoys eating all kinds of fun food around DC and would be open to any recommendations. In her free time catch her binging Netflix, exploring DC, or looking at pictures of her adorable black Lab.

Josh

Josh is a freshman at the Kogod School of Business studying Business Administration. He is hoping to pursue a minor in either information technology or management. He loves getting to chat and learn about everyone's business needs or interests. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he loves the west coast and all the great hikes LA has to offer. Outside of school, he is an avid long-distance runner, photographer, and avid reader.

Julian is an undergraduate student from Miami, FL. He has lived in many different countries, tutored at several schools, and is fluent in Spanish. When he's not working at the ProComms Center as a peer consultant, you can find him with a book, reading the news, or eating a poke bowl at Kerwin Hall.

Kate is an undergraduate student from New Jersey. Her interests include traveling, trying new foods, reading, and spending time with friends. She loves working with the ProComms Center because she can use her experiences to help others improve their confidence in their written and verbal communication skills.

Katie is an undergraduate from Orlando, FL double-majoring in Business Administration (Marketing) and Film and Media Arts. Her areas of expertise include public speaking, graphic design, and business research and writing. Besides working at the ProComms Center, she is a member of AU Honors, the Kogod Honors Program, Undergraduate Women in Business, and AU Improv. Outside of work, you can find her exploring D.C. museums, watching stand-up comedy, or listening to 80s music because it's the best decade of music.

Kayla 

Kayla is an undergraduate student from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to her Kogod major, she's working on a minor in Spanish. When she's not in class, she loves to discover new parts of DC, read lots and lots of books, play the piano, and go for hikes. At the top of her bucket list is traveling to Spain.

Khushi is an undergraduate student studying Business Administration with a specialization in Information Technology. Khushi has been a TA for KSB 100, and is working on developing a start-up. She is also a choreographer on the American Bhangra Crew, and treasurer of Chi Omega Sorority. She loves meeting new people and enjoys trying new food!

Koye is a full-time MBA candidate from West Chester, PA. He is passionate about career and effective communication mentoring. When he is not coaching fellow Kogod students, you can find him either on the soccer field, exploring new restaurant recommendations, or planning his next cruise ship adventure.

Malik is an undergraduate student and Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholar studying African American and African Diaspora Studies and Dance with a minor in Entrepreneurship. He is passionate about teaching, community organizing, and storytelling. As an educator, Malik aims to create and manage a non-profit organization to help bring the arts to underrepresented youth and communities in the US.

Nicole is an undergraduate student and Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholar studying business administration. Nicole is from Long Island, NY, and is passionate about helping others especially when it comes to improving their business communication skills. Outside of school, she loves to explore D.C., paint, watch true crime shows, and spend time with friends. In the future, Nicole aims to attend law school and pursue a career in human resources.

Roy is an undergraduate student from Fanwood, NJ. He is currently majoring in Finance and hopes to minor in Sustainability. As an active member of Kogod Ambassadors, guiding tours to prospective students, he is passionate about professional development. When not studying at The Bridge, you can find him exploring the Smithsonian's museums along the National Mall!

Ryan is an undergraduate student from South Florida and is majoring in Business and Entertainment!  On-campus, Ryan is involved with Greek Life as she is a member of Delta Gamma, and she is currently a part-time tutor for DC Reads. Ryan’s favorite activities are exploring the city, finding new restaurants, and watching Netflix!

Seamus is an undergraduate student from Philadelphia, P.A. His favorite part about working at the ProComms Center is watching clients' growth from each meeting. Outside of ProComms, he is usually watching basketball, playing videogames, or shopping for sneakers.

Selena is an undergraduate student from Clarksburg, Maryland, studying Business Administration with a dual specialization in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She currently serves as the VP of Diversity & Inclusion for the AU Undergraduate Women in Business and interns for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out at the gym, and trying new restaurants. She is excited to be a part of the ProComms Center to help students improve their business communication skills.

Sophia is an undergraduate student from Fairfax, VA. She is a Business Administration Major pursuing a specialization in Entrepreneurship. When she's not attending clubs or doing homework, she enjoys reading, cooking, and hanging with friends.

Trisha is an undergraduate student. She is currently majoring in Business, Spanish, and Culture at AU. She was drawn to AU because of its location in DC and the opportunity here in the nation's capital. Fluent in Spanish after a year abroad in Zaragoza, Spain, Trisha hopes that her career may take her back to Madrid at some point.

Zoe is an undergraduate student from Raleigh, North Carolina. She is super excited to be a part of this team and help her fellow Kogod peers. In her free time, Zoe is either spending time with her friends or horseback riding.
