At Kogod, we develop students as strong leaders of their organizations to become effective leaders in the world.
Kogod provides targeted advising for student organizations in officer training, event planning, goal-setting, organizational behavior, and more.

The Kogod Accounting Club at American University aims to develop and support a network of students who share interest in the fields of Accounting and Taxation. Throughout the academic year, the Accounting Club will organizes a variety of events designed to meet students’ needs in areas including CPA exam preparation, career development, networking opportunities, and community service.

The purpose of the PEVC Club is to create an environment for students to learn more about venture capitalism and private equity through bi-weekly meetings which allow us to network and create connections in the world of private equity and business education. American University's Sports Business Association (SBA) is a student organization that provides a platform for students interested in pursuing a career in the sports industry, offering networking events and opportunities. SBA offers club meetings, on- and off-campus networking events, and our largest event, The Sports Events Marketing Experience (SEME) Conference, held in the Spring. The SEME Conference is planned, organized, and executed by SBA members, and is an excellent opportunity for students to network with sports industry professionals as well as students with sports industry experience.

The goal of the Student Organization of Latinos in Business (SOLAU) is to unite students who are interested in business from a variety of backgrounds by fostering a strong sense of community and promoting cultural awareness. Chris holds a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology and global public health from New York University.
Before joining the Kogod team, Chris served as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Graduate Intern at the University of Michigan's Center for Campus Involvement, where he oversaw professional and interpersonal development for students, staff, and the university community.
While most recently from Michigan, Chris is originally from Taiwan and lived between Taiwan, California, and Toronto growing up. Having just finished graduate school, Chris is still trying to figure out what he enjoys doing when he is not working, but video games and basketball are on the list!
