Professor Carmel's article, "The Dominant Cybersecurity Industry Clusters: Evolution and Sustainment," studies cybersecurity mega-clusters in Washington, San Francisco, and Israel in order to determine how these regions have remained dominant in the industry. The authors synthesized firm-level data, case studies, and interviews and compiled an extensive history of their evolution to explain the power of these clusters.
