The Kogod School of Business’s emphasis on experiential learning provides students with practical knowledge that they can apply immediately in the workplace. Immersion classes bring students both into our local city of DC and across the globe, and pro-bono consulting projects partner students with teammates from across the university to implement fundamental changes in businesses. Kogod students graduate with both a diploma and invaluable experiences. 

In addition to support from the Office of Career Engagement, Kogod’s full-time MBA students work with accomplished faculty who have experience in the classroom and the field. Two of the most pivotal components of the full-time MBA program are the Global Project Experience and the capstone project. Both projects are led by esteemed Kogod faculty. They require students to work with actual companies in a consulting environment to develop solutions to challenges and innovations to help local and global companies reach their goals. 

Kogod’s Office of Career Engagement also connects current students with alumni through Career Pathways. This program curates alumni and employer panels, employer showcases, treks, coaching, and communities designed specifically around students’ desired careers. Monthly events and access to networks and mentors bring Kogod students much closer to reaching their professional goals.

Some of the companies employing our 2021 full-time MBA cohort are Microsoft, Verizon, Deloitte, CBRE, Kimberly Clark, Freddie Mac, Tegna Inc., and the National Women’s Law Center.
